E1 Certification

To press wood chips into particle board, synthetic resins containing formaldehyde are used as a binding agent. These can be harmful to the environment and human health, as the resins do not form a permanent bond with the wood chips and can release formaldehyde into the indoor air.

All our bathroom furniture complies with the E1 emission protection class. This means they are low in formaldehyde and under normal conditions release no more than 0.1 ppm of formaldehyde into the room air.
